11 Trailers Made for Cold Winter Camping

There are a lot of RV’s that are made for all seasons, but does that mean an RV is meant for the cold? Here is a list of 11 RV’s that will help you know which are the best RV’s for winter.

When you buy an RV, it’s important to look for an RV that can survive the winter cold. Some RVs will say they can handle four seasons but actually can’t. In order for an RV to be a winter RV, the pipes and water tanks need to be insulated.

Water lines can be dangerous in freezing temperatures. It’s important to know that you’re taking the risk of these water lines breaking and damaging your RV.

Even with the insulation, it doesn’t mean the RV will stay home. When camping in areas that consistently are below 0, it can get cold even with a “4 season” or “winter” RV. Some RV’s come with a Polar Package of insulation which is helpful but they can still compare to regular RVs’ insulations.

So which RV’s can hold up the best in the cold? Let’s go and see.

1. Keystone Montana

The Keystone Montana was made for the cold. It provides some of the best warm features needed to assist you on your adventures in the cold. Not only does it cover your needs for the winter, it also comes with a three year limited structural warranty. The RV features enough room for a full fridge, microwave, oven, sink, and cabinet space. It has an entertainment set, ready for a TV with enough seating for five around it.

This RV offers some of the best insulation for an RV. See below for the incredible heating features.

Winter Camping

Going forward, be careful as you purchase your Winter RV. Some RVs will say “Four Seasons” but this doesn’t mean the RV can manage in the cold weather. It is important to take precautions before setting out so you are prepared to camp in the snow and the cold.

Whichever RV you choose, it can be a great adventure with one of these warm campers. Happy camping and stay warm!
